Peer-Review and Publication Policy
The Journal of Research in Education (JRE) is published by St. Xavier's College of Education (Autonomous), Patna. It is published biannually in June and December. JRE mandates the submission of papers along with a copyright form. Upon receiving the manuscript, it is forwarded to the Refereed and Advisory Board by the Chief Editor and Managing Editor. Following a thorough screening by these bodies, the manuscript is then directed to the Editorial Board. Upon their recommendations, it is circulated to our esteemed peer review team. This dedicated team rigorously evaluates the submitted papers. Once the peer-review process is complete, the manuscript returns to the Editorial Board for final consideration. Authors are promptly notified of any necessary corrections, if applicable, before the paper proceeds for publication.
JRE offers both electronic and hard copies of published papers. The Journal retains the complete right to share these papers with any indexing agency, thus broadening their accessibility within the academic community and furthering research interests. It is essential to emphasize that there are no publication charges at any stage of the publication process. For those interested in obtaining a hard copy of the journal, there is a fee of 1000 rupees. Additionally, there is a provision for annual subscription charges, set at 1000 rupees for institutions and 700 rupees for individuals seeking hard copies.

| 1. | 1 Title and Author Information: The first page should include the article's title and author(s) details. The article's title should be centered, bold, and written in 12-point Times New Roman Font for English or 13-point Kruti Dev 010 Font for Hindi. In the title, capitalize major words. The author (s) name(s) should appear below the title. Designation and affiliation of the author(s) should be provided as footnotes. | |||
| 2. | 2 Abstract: All manuscripts should include a brief abstract. The abstract, along with keywords, should not exceed 250 words. | |||
| 3. | Manuscript: Use a 12-point Times New Roman Font for English or a 13-point Kruti Dev 010 Font for Hindi. Maintain a single-spaced format with a single column. Set 1" margins on all sides of a standard A4 size paper. Research articles/papers should ideally not exceed 2500 words. | |||
| 3.1 | Headings and Sub-headings: Use bold-faced type for all headings and sub-headings. Align headings to the left, capitalizing major words. | |||
